Blokmodellen af ??DUKW amphibiekøretøjet blev udviklet i en skala på 1:35 som en del af samlingen udgivet i anledning af 80-årsdagen for de allieredes landinger i Normandiet og bærer de officielle logoer for arrangørerne af fejringen, der skal afholdes i Frankrig! Vores model består af 508 elementer af høj kvalitet og inkluderer tryk, der ikke slides af, selv under intensiv brug. Modellen er udstyret med rullende hjul, hvilket øger sættets attraktivitet markant. Et transportkøretøj kan ikke fungere uden en last, og derfor bærer den amerikanske soldat, der kører det amphibiske køretøj, en masse tilbehør, som enhver fan af byggeklodser vil være glad for at have. En bazooka, Browning, Garand, Thomson og M1 rifler og kikkert er ikke alt. Lastområdet indeholder også kasser, tønder, dåser og et reservehjul. Hele sættet suppleres af to store pigtråd.

DUKW, også kendt som Duck, var et amphibisk transportkøretøj, der primært blev brugt af United States Army under Anden Verdenskrig. Produktionen begyndte i 1942. Det var baseret på designet af en GMC lastbil, med et ekstra drivsystem, der gjorde det i stand til at bevæge sig både på land og i vand. Det havde en karakteristisk flad bov, der gjorde det lettere at flyde. DUKW blev bredt brugt under sølandinger, landoperationer og til transport i oversvømmede områder. Dets evne til at bevæge sig på vand og land gjorde det til et meget alsidigt køretøj under kampforhold. Køretøjet blev drevet af en kraftig benzinmotor, der tillod det at nå en maksimal hastighed på cirka 80 km/t på land og 10 km/t i vand. Det kunne rumme op til 25 personer eller 2,25 tons last. Efter afslutningen af Anden Verdenskrig blev DUKW fortsat brugt af amerikanske tropper i konflikter som Koreakrigen og Vietnamkrigen. Det blev også eksporteret til andre lande og brugt til civile formål som søfartsturisme og redning. DUKW betragtes som et ikon fra Anden Verdenskrig. Nogle eksemplarer er bevaret som museumsudstillinger, og køretøjet bruges stadig bredt i historiske rekonstruktioner og militære begivenheder.
